How flexible are the lashed aluminum boats. I would expect a good lashing job
would not permit much flex. The pictures I have seen also had little gussets
lashed in at the joints. These must serve to stiffen the boat considerably.
Is epoxy coating the lashing still done. This too would reduce flex.
The aluminum boats can't be as flexible as a traditionally built wood one.
Can they?
