George,

All them terminals to play with! :-)

I'm not sure yet just what I will do. I'm thinking of going ahead and
stretching it by a little bit, not too much and using the center hatch
as you indicated: cargo or solo use. I just don't see how I can effectively
retain positive control soloing from the other two hatches. I could ballast
out the other hatch, but I've paddled a canoe that way and have to admit
that while it works I don't like it.

I'll probably also wind up raising the fore part of the hatches to make it
easier for me to get in and out (6 feet 1 inch tall). That was recommended
by another builder. Other than that, I think I'm about ready to begin
construction. Or at least the gathering of materials!

I do have a question that either no-one knows the answer to or no-one wants
to answer. Perhaps you can? How does this boat roll? While I don't
plan to ever _have_ to roll it, it would be nice to know if I can ahead of
time or if I would be wasting my time practicing a roll. I can roll my
Perception Spirit quite well, so.... Besides, it's nice on those hot days
to be able to roll to cool off! ;-) Doubled we'll swim and recover via
canoe style. Trippled, ditto. Solo will usually find the other two hatches
sealed, so...it would be nice to know.

Enjoy the conference!
