I have just converted the baidarka mailing list to using majordomo
mailing list software. Please let me know if there are any problems.
I have put the address baidarka@imagelan.com into the Reply-To: field
of items sent to the list so on most systems replying to an item
will now be sent back to the list. To reply directly to the originator
of an item you will need to get the originators address out of the
From: field in the email items header. There are 2 From fields
in an email header, the From with the : contains the email address to
use. Some email packages "mistakenly" send replies to the From: address,
if your email package does this you will still need to resend items
to baidarka@imagelan.com. Majordomo is also smart enough that subscribe
requests sent to baidarka@imagelan.com will not get forwarded to the list.
email to baidarka@imagelan.com will still be sent to the entire mailing
list.
email to baidarka-l@imagelan.com or majordomo@imagelan.com with the
following text in the body portion of the message
subscribe baidarka
or
unsubscribe baidarka
will get the email address in the sender added to the mailing list.
subscribe baidarka email_address
or
unsubscribe baidarka email_address
will get the email address specified added to the mailing list.
