Almost half that weight is solvent (therebyinsulting you and your
neighbors who wil be breathing it, and your bank acccount by the high price
you paid for something which should be less expensive than regular gasoline,
just tohave it evaporate...) As a rule of thumb the coating ends up
weighing almost as much as the skin. Skimp on the deck by all means (3 or
4 coats, depending on thinning and application technique) but in my
opinion don't skip on the hull, i.e., 4, 5 or even 6 coats to really fil
the weave.
