Subject: Foot room in 5.28...
"Trim toes."
Best laugh ofthe day for me....
I have same foot room problem... I removed the floorboards.
Now, when I paddle, there are two heel dimples in the
bottom... totally destroying the laminar flow properties :-)
I also note that the foot braces I installed had to be
installed over the frame...this forces them to be at least a
half inch closer to the centerline...So, my heels are jamed
into the soft skin and keel (not uncomfortable), with my big
toe making a dimple in the deck covering and other toes
jammed into the foot brace... If and when I re cover, I'll
figure out a way to move the footbraces outboard to get more
room... If all else fails, I could sew two little pockets in
the deck (like the ends of mittens) to have room for my
feet... TLC
