I have built three of George Dyson's Baidarka's within the
last couple of years; two singles and latterly, one copy of his most recent
double, with another of these in the works, completion date - who knows when.
The 21.65ft double is a great boat - perhaps like most
proud builders, I was initially reluctant to even dip it in the water. Once
afloat, I found it very easy and satisfying to paddle and a particularly
enjoyable ride under sail. Keep up the good work - it's worth the effort!
I would be very happy to help in whatever way I can with your project, just
fire away with your questions.
