Ic|- I have built three of George Dyson's Baidarka's within
|- the last couple of years; two singles and latterly, one copy of his
|- most recent double, with another of these in the works, completion
|- date - who knows when.

Ic|- The 21.65ft double is a great boat - perhaps like
|- most proud builders, I was initially reluctant to even dip it in the
|- water. Once afloat, I found it very easy and satisfying to paddle and
|- a particularly enjoyable ride under sail. Keep up the good work -
|- it's worth the effort! I would be very happy to help in whatever way I
|- can with your project, just fire away with your questions.

Hi Mark...

I have recently acquired George Dyson's package which includes his
latest offerings. I am pleased to note that you are almost a neighbour..[g]

Having retired recently I am returning to my interest in kayaks and am
currently building a stripper. I have since become very interested in the
Baidarka that George has developed and intend to make it my next project.

I was wondering though about the merits of the double versus the solo.
I would also love an opportunity to view yours sometime and, of course, ask
lots of questions..

Did you acquire the kit from George, and drive down to Bellingham and
pick it up? Did you acquire the neoprene and hypalon locally?
