Subject: Maine gathering
Just a word for those intending to make the trip to the Skin Boat gathering
this weekend. Keep an eye on the hurricane storm track when making your
plans. While it doesn't look like we will get anything directly here, if
the storm goes by at sea we tend to get some wind and major swells. If you
plan to do some boating after the gathering you might want to have an
inshore alternative to use if the ocean gets too big. We are fortunate
here that the coast provides some sheltered rivers and bays .
There is no rain date scheduled but right now the forecast is for partly
cloudy skies Saturday. If the storm goes by inland that may change, but I
don't expect it to.

This is a great way to get out information, but unfortunately a lot of
people who I sent information to are not on the list. If you know of
someone in this unenlightened state please pass this on to them .
