I know George Dyson sells synthetic fabric which I believe is
polyester. I know people are also using nylon. Where are people
buying nylon? What is the cost per yard? What are pros/cons vs.
material that George sells?
The major problem with cotton duck is that it rots if it doesn't
dry out well. Sand accumulates in the bow and tail areas which
are pretty tight and the sand traps moisture which accelerates rotting.
What sort of problems do synthetics have, other than higher cost?
Is UV a problem? Does anybody have any longevity figures?
