I'm interested, but won't be in town then. A place you should
definitely visit is the center for wooden boats at the south end of
Lake Union. They don't have any currachs, but have examples of many
other wooden boats. If you are interested in dugout canoes, there are
some in a museum on the UW campus, and some hanging in the dining room
of Ivar's Salmon House on the north end of Lake Union. Have a good
visit!
