Hi, not sure if you got my first message, think I sent it to the wrong
address. Sounds like you have some interesting wood there. The cypress
might make good ribs, I think it's heavier than cedar, and is
expyremely rot resistant. The cedar could be used in the
longitudinals. I used Wolfgang Brinck's book Building the Aleut Kayak,
to build my boat, and also info from this list. George Dyson has all
