Did you see that recent and most entertaining movie ALASKA in which
there were a pair of Baidarkas[one single and a double]?

Were these your craft or David Zimmerly's? They appeared to be canvass
coated and rather nicely opaque. They looked great. Has any one used a
urethane coating on the canvass? If so would it not last longer than five
years? Urethane being the tougher coating as a sealant it would seem that
the cotton fibers would be well protected from rot.
