Basically the plans I've seen rips a sheet of plywood into 4 one ft.
strips, rounds the corners , hinges top and bottom sides with canvas glued
on ( < > ), fits them over two removable frames and glue canvas over the
bottom and top openings leaving a opening for the cockpit. There was some
non folding ones made of this shape of fiber glass though I'll never know
why. <_>
As always I can be wrong and often am.
