Jim, a very nice site! Great pictures, too. I learned quite a bit just from
examining the pix of the lashings.
When I get further along I'll ask you about a link to the bamboo framed
kayak pages on my site, I have a nice historical overview right now but I'm
still waiting for film to come back from the photo lab to add more pix of
the boat under construction.
Right now I have a couple thumbnails of the gunwales pegged to the ground
with deckbeams roughly laid across.
Given the turn in the weather I think it's about time to move it into the
garage to finish up. (Ah, I'm in Maryland on the Chesapeake).
