Subject: baidarka kits?
Hi,
I just tried to reach George Dyson as I am interested in locating a baidarka kit
for me to work on over the winter (single). His telephone number as listed on
the net appears incorrect. How can I reach him, or others who might offer such
a kit? I've been reading about baidarkas for a few years and want to try my
hand at making one, but not from scratch.

Yes I did use a paint brush (outdoors, wearing a respirator -- the stuff was
nasty!). I can't remember the name of the two-part material that I used (I
purchased it from George Dyson) but will check in my garage tonight and report
back to the list tomorrow. I was pretty happy with the results.
BTW, thanks for the ad, Kirk. Actually I'd sell the baidarka to anyone on the
list for a lot less than the asking price. Just trying to scrape up money for
my
ongoing trimaran project, which is fast taking over my barn and basement!
