The ads for polypro always talk about the hydrophilic ("water-hating",
non-absorbing qualities) and the wicking ability. I wouldn't want to skin
my boat with something that wanted to move water from the wet to the dry
side, even if it was non-absorbent. My polypro jacket gets wet in one spot
and the spot gets larger very quickly as it's wicked.
