There's a short description (I think it's a transcript of an interview) of
anatomical measurements (anthropometrics ?) in George Dyson's book,
Baidarka. Wolfgang Brinck's book, The Aleutian Kayak, has also got
this information, along with the steps used in obtaining accurate
measurements
.
I followed Brinck's description and the 2 pieces of string, one long and one
short, with knots marking my measuremnts is sitting on my desk as I type.
I had to start at some point, sooner or later ;-)
