If anyone wants to know about Freestyle paddling, talk to me. I can send
you it the right directions.

I just finished setting up and running the first Manitoba Freestyle
Synposium. I had Mark Molina come in from Florida to be the instructor. We
had 12 participants, 3 from Montana, 1 from Illinois, 1 from Ontario, and
the rest were local, including me.

Already adept at "style" paddling, sometimes called classic solo, I
understood what we were doing quite well, all that remained was practice,
practice, practice. If you want to talk to anybody about efficient
paddling, talk to Mark. If you want to see some amazing paddling, see Mark.

I know its not kayaking, but excellent paddling is excellent paddling!

(by the way, Mark gave my newest solo canoe design excellent reviews, kind
of makes things worthwhile...)
