If you have never built a boat before follow some ones plans or
plan on building one or two to throw away. In general if it looks like
a boat it works like a boat.

The center of gravity and rudders, skegs and rocker can all be
pretty critical in small boats.

Unless you are one of us that like building boats you will be money
ahead to get a part time job and by a boat. To most of us the building
is an important part of the boat.
