Subject: [baidarka] "Textile Commission"
I was talking to my local sailmaker (Meade Breese, advertises in Messing
About in Boats & Woodenboat) the other day, and he mentioned a source of
all sorts of fabrics for things like awnings, and maybe even, experimental
sails or baidarkas:
Textile Commission Inc (or Philadelphia Textile Commission)
800-523-4946
They're apparently wholesalers and/or, guessing from the name, they sell on
consignment for manufacturers.
He said calling them is like "Let's Make a Deal", so you've been warned <grin>.
