Each gunwale can be disassembled into three parts only.
This gives a kayak bag of nearly 2m length. It doubled
as my sleeping compartment; the sail doubled as my
tent during my last trip to norway.

Gunwale part length ranges from 1.4m to 1.7m.

Interestingly, that kayak bag of mine is just a few
inches longer than my commercial folding kayak's bag,
where the kayak's gunwales have 4 parts each.
