Ted,
I am also in the beginning phases of building a Dyson 5.28. When
I went to Bellingham to pick up the tubing for it, George showed me a jig he
used for cutting the slot in the keel tube. The slot was cut with a router
and a slot cutter, modified in a certain way. There were stops to limit the
travel of the router.
