Chris White, the noted multihull designer and builder , built himself a
very large(60 ft?) trimaran constructing and assembling panels from
juniper veneers virtually by himself by something i think he calls
"modified constant camber system".The boat was called "Juniper"
appropriatly. He used vacum bagging to form the panels this allows all
sorts of opportunities to use "trash" wood i'd think. Might be an
alternative to woodstrip tho I havn't seen any examples..The multihull
people have all sorts of other kool ideas that might serve,
