I think either Craig or myself misunderstood Charles' question - and my
track record in this area is poor, so I'm not betting on the outcome. I
thought he was asking if it was *possible* to twist and bend at the same
time and I think Craig read it as being is it possible to *avoid* having it
twist as you bend. I just had a look and could not find the reference, but
I swear I saw an article somewhere showing how to bend and twist so the rib
(or whatever is being bent) lands square(r) to the piece that it is meant to
land on. If I remember right, the author was using a device like a "wrench"
to twist as he bent. The "wrench" was a length of hardwood (18-24 inches)
with a square mortise in the middle that just fit over the end of the member
being bent into position - so you could lever and twist at the same time
with it. Did anybody else see this, or am I imagining it?
