it is quite amazing to see a 40 or more story high lashed bamboo pole
scaffold. it is, of course, much lighter than the usual steel and wood
systems, and very strong - it is very environmentally friendly - 3 years
of growth before harvest. i have bamboo flooring and it looks great and
is very water resistant and doesn't warp.
