Now I'm showing MY centrist leanings.!

In all fairness, though, its been 15 years since I read the book, and the
details of the Minnesota geography eluded me at the time of writing.
Wanting to get off the mark fast, I didn't stop to look up the details.
Essentially I meant to say that they paddled upstream from Minneapolis to
the point where they could cross the watershed height of land.
