Ahhh, that would explain how "New York" gets to be 2250 miles from
Minneapolis!
I had just got through reading a series about a fellow who went from the
Great Lakes to New York in an open boat in the 20's with an early
outboard on it. Must've stuck in my mind.
My apologies to the Canadians, it's not really "American" centrism. We
Southerners kinda think everything north of Virginia is a foreign
country ;-)
