Swede form is an obligation to achieve minimum width behind the paddler.
This Does not imply that UNDERWATER things are set differently.

However, this speed debate is likely to produce very little. There has
been a lot a while ago, and with very qualified contributions.

I stopped following these debates when somebody totally unknown almost
bit me over the mail for having said that I had clocked myself (not an
athlete) at 5.98 knots, 3 times over a 3 km course.
It was virtually impossible for a 16.5 ft kayak to perform such speed,
following an article published on sea kayaker by the candian designer of
Redwing designs (forgot hs name).

I had a good chronometer and am sure of the distance, so I'll stick to
my data.

Olimpic flatwater designers were once using flat boats, now they have
considerable rocker. Now they go faster.

Is it because of the increased rocker or better athletic preparation?
Or doping ??
