I forgot to say that also my kayak skin has one long (almost 8 ft) YKK
brand BIG zipper to slip the assembled structure into the skin, just
like a sock. The zip goes from the widest point to the stern or stem (I
had to modify the direction after realizing that the total perimeter of
one specific frame was wider and would not go through the skin opening
otherwise.

Also forgot to mention two carlins that should provide hip support when
rolling, as in the khatsalano (feathercraft) and add torsional rigidity
at the mid section.
