Although one piece is preferred, glue would be the next best . Should

Thanks for the information. I posted it to our kayak building list on the
internet.
They asked me about the glue - how is it applied and how strong is it.
They would not want the seams to come unglued along the water line of a
kayak. Maybe you can illustrate by other examples how glued materials are
used.
