Having been a previous instructor at SpiritLine, I'll
throw in my two-bitys.
Almost always, the cause for 'peeling' is because of
the graphics painted on the skin before applying the
coating. Especially where large graphics are
concerned.
Corey uses a two-part polypropylene coating from
Empire Varnish Co. However, I have found that most
any good two-part poly can work well for patching
small areas. The trick is to work it well into the
fibers of the fabric with a plastic bondo blade.
