Does anyone know of any good websites or inexpensive sources of "authentic"
native Aleut art that would be suitable for decorating a baidarka. I'm
just looking for design ideas that would be fun to adapt to the deck of a
kayak and look authentic.
That is as much a decorating a kayak skin can be "authentic", I do not know
that any native would have spent much effort decorating a skin that only
lasts one season. There does not seem to be any old pictures of decorated
kayaks in the books.
