Subject: baidarka Inuit boat plans - any firsthand experience?

I am planning to build a Greenland style boat. Previous experience is one
stictch-n-glue. I will be sticking most closely to either the Cunningham boat
plans published in SK, the plans/instructions in Bob Bouchet's video, or the
instructions in HC Petersens book. Unlike commercial boats, I will not be
demoing these in advance since they are not readily available. My questions is
whether anyone here has paddled 1 or more of these boats, what you think, and
if more than one....how do the alternatives compare (particularly performance
wise).
