Aii! -- I should have asked you to look for a copy of "Palos Brudefaerd"!
Looking forward to the rest of your report.

Folks,
While in Greenland for the National Championships, Harvey Golden, Cindy
Cole and myself found a number of good deals on hard to find books
(actually, Harvey had gleaned all of this information long before Cindy and
I arrived in town). Perhaps the best find was the Greenland National Museum
and Archives, they sell H.C. Petersen's "Skinboats of Greenland" (English)
for approximately $50.00 US and will ship to the U.S. Available for about
$2.50 each are two posters (line drawings), one showing the framework of
the qajaq with the components labeled ("The Greenlandic Kayak Frame"), and
another showing a qajaq fully outfitted with hunting tools ("The
Greenlandic Kayak and its Tools"). Very good for your workshop or hanging
in your study. The posters are available in English or Greenlandic. They
also sell copies of Gert Nooter's book Qajatoqqat Pukkitsormiuniittut
(Holland), Greenlandic only, for about $2.00. The staff speaks fluent
English and was quite patient with our requests.
