Hello, All,

I think I'm making pretty good progress on my Cunningham Greenland kayak,
but I need a little advice before taking the next step. I've lashed the
keelson and the chines to the frames but have not yet pegged the keelson to
the bow stem, so I can still adjust the sheer/rocker a bit. Here are my
current measurements -- are they in the right ballpark?

The keelson is 14'4" long. When resting on the floor, the bottom of the
keelson is 1.5" above the floor at the bow and stern ends. Is this enough
rocker?

>From the top of the gunwale to the bottom of the keelson measures

10" at the bow
9" at the mid frame
6" at the stern

Do these measurements seem reasonable?

Also, should I be able to sit down in the cockpit with my legs bent and then
straighten them forward under the deck? At the moment, I have to squirm in
while holding an "L" shape, but I'm considering moving deck beam #6
forward/up a bit to make entry easier on the shins.
