I didn't find this a problem, Wayne. You could, of course, put the odd
lashing from the keelson to deck beams as you go along, but when you add the
stringers, you'll be lashing the odd rib to the gun'l at each side and then
can remove the lashings from keelson to deck beams.
Good luck - I'm just back from an weekend of paddling mine in the Scottish
Hebrides. They're wonderful boats!
