R: I'm getting some grey hair dealing with those sketches at the moment,
trying to integrate them more tightly into the text, lack of which had been
commented on in the past.

R: The tables will be reworked and presented in (non-photocopied reduced)
legible version this go around! They are actually more interesting than the
drawings themselves for the p[otential builder since you sort of have to
build a folding boat from measurements (at least it would be highly
complicated to build it from the gunwale down, like a traditionally built
skin boat).
P: ... of white water folding kayaks. Not meant for ocean use. But the
sketches of folding mechanism's apply to either.
R: There are several "original" designs for ocean use. Lorenz Mayr and that
generation of kayakers in German speaking countries distinguish between
"Alpine Eskimos" and "Coastal Eskimos" (no relation to arctic indiginous
peoples!)
