I could not advise drinking the heavy water however, even in an emergency.
 At least not until the Deuterium concentration got down below acceptable
levels, in about half a century or so. Though it would be keeping you warm
all that time, but I'm not sure it would be a good idea to have children
after that. Though that is unlikely if you had to wait that long to get a
drink of water I suppose.
