Dear Mr. Peter Chopelas and others,

I have a question about the airfoil shape described above, as I have no
engineering knowledge to work with. Given that the foil shape would be
moving sideways through the water (as opposed to an airplane wing, where
the foil heads directly into the air) does this mean that there is a
difference in pressure from the lower edge of the blade to the top of the
blade, and would the foil shape work in this orientation? Can this
pressure difference be detected over a 3.5" blade?
