Wayne, bob klemick here, maybe if you thin the poly by 10% or more you will get
better flow into the weave, and then strengthen it up in successive coats. Like
to hear how it comes out. As for stretching, I modified an old bumper jack
anchored to a stud in my garage, (the front end is looped around my wife with
her heels really dug in : )) Actually I just attach it to my car and then just
click away. Have to be careful not to break the boat. I clasp the canvas in
between two pieces of wood with a harness to the jack.........bk
