I'm not sure what I'm referring to either. I saw that reference in the
archives, and I believe it was a comment directed at a nylon boat made
by Bill Low. I thought it referred to a general puckering of the boat
itself, caused by the nylon stretching when wet. A little local stitch
puckering doesnt scare me, but Bill apparently abandoned nylon for
polyester after only one boat, either because of his personal objection
to the corn problem, or because the comment came from a fetching young
lass that had caught his fancy. Some people apparently dont get the
problem with nylon. I want their secret, if there is one. Incantations
only go so far, and one doesnt want fetching young lasses running around
talking about one's ear of corn.
