Fellow builders of skin-on-frame craft (in various guises):

1 - I really appreciate your taking the time and making the effort of thinking through quasi-legal reasoning regarding copyright of material posted to this list.

2 - I appreciate even more that no one has as yet stated that they would object to their own personal contributions to this mailing list to be quoted on the FoldingBoats ("Amateur Folding Boat Builders' Corner") mailing list. If there be anyone out there that does actually object, please respond.

3 - I apologize for having caused this list to drift so far off topic and for making a huge mountain out of a tiny mole hill.

To continue in that vein:

Northern Germany, where I grew up, is at least as flat as most parts of (in-) famously flat Holland. The highest elevations are typically found in the form of mole hills. This led inevitably to the formation of the "North German Mountain Rescue Team". The somewhat regal looking and certainly elaborate emblem of The Team depicted a well equipped mountaineering mole (NOT naked!! He had pockets, this one!) proudly posing atop his hill. The Team's continuing mission: To go forth where no mole had gone before and there to end the unrelenting flatness of the land (and, as a side effect, to rescue those who encountered unsurmountable difficulties when challenging those very lofty peaks).
