This 56-year-old rolls, though only fiberglass boats, so far (except I think
I rolled one of Mark Rogers' skin boats once at a symposium). I taught
myself when I was 50.

Hup there Harvey,
I need a little advice if you have the time. I have always paddled large
folding, double kayaks. I never even came close to needing to roll and
doubt
that such a boat can unless, maybe, two really strong paddlers did it
together.
Now I am considering building a skinny, fun, daytrip kayak, a Baidarka. I
am 60
years old and learning to do a roll sounds scary. Am I biting off more than
I
can chew? Do 60 year olds roll?
