No, it does not. I built a badairka using 5/8" poly tubing that I got from Home
Dep. It comes in 100' rolls. I first tried it without heat, just cut to size and
pressed down with the keelson. It did not stay flattened and it rounded out....but
not completely. The boat was a little twitchy but manageable. I then decided to
try it with heat (steambox). It worked pretty well. The process also gave me
confidence to try willows which was more trying but gave a better result. If you
are not trying to be as authentic as possible do what works...........bob klemick
