Hi Doug,

True, you can't undo extreme bends in the aluminum tube. However, Mr.
Holsclaw and I became a little too enthusiastic while bending the tubing for
my Dyson baidarka. Here's the trick I used to fix my overbent tubes: Drill a
hole of the thickness of the tubing into a woodblock . Insert the tubing
into the hole and manually (with as much control as possible) slowly work
the tubing. It worked fine for the 1/2" tubing. The 3/4 might be too strong
for that method. But I'm sure you could come up with something for the
larger tubes.

I also found that it was less messy to smear the vaseline into the Holsclaw
Tubing bender instead of the tubing itself.
