What works surprisingly well are GoreTex mittens/gauntlets. Make sure they're a good fit
(not too big). My hands actually get vhot! The rough GoreTex plam (no extra rubber grippy
stuff) actually has truly excellent grip on an unfinished paddle - kinda burnishing it
even. No liners at all necessary. Try it - I guarrantee you'll like it, especially with
sliding stroke. Your hands/forearms do not tire at all.
