I think maybe we should do a session on these paddles next year at Pt.
Townsend. Lew, would you be interested in doing that with me? I can
contact them and see what they say.

The choices I have found are to fair the ridge into the tip, or to continue
the ridge right to the end. Lew's drawing shows it faired; however all the
paddles I have seen in the museums continue the ridge clear to the end.
David, can you help us here? My current solution is to fair it as in Lew's
drawing. I found that when I continued the ridge clear to the tip I got a
splash on entry.
