its really pretty simple to figure out why man went from a hunter-gatherer
to a farmer.
he figured out how to make beer! and in order to continue making beer he had
to have a supply of ingredients. thats it short and simple. it doesn't quite
beat having virgins chewing on starch roots and spitting the stuff out into
a large bowl but i guess it comes close and you get a larger supply.
i think that they needed beer so they had something to do while sitting
around and watching the fire burn.
