Subject: baidarka More on Old Believers

Hi All,
It's off the subject, and we seem to drift some anyway, but we have a large
number of "Old Believers" here in Oregon. Some have worked at the factory
where I work, requiring I keep one of the pre-Reformation calendars to
accommodate their holidays
Yes it is sort of an anachronistic feeling when a young woman in a long
flowing dress, a bun in her hair, and Nike's hits a home run at the company
softball game.
I have yet to have one in my kayak class. But the time will come.
