I'm pretty sure I hold the all-time record for people who started AND
intend to finish someday, (rather than varnish the frame, hang it up on the
wall and say "yep, I built that thar kayak").

I started my kayak in...was it 97 or 98? Cant recall, anyway, its been a
while. Lets see 24 times 7 times ...By my calculations I've got somewheres
between 24,120 and 30,240 hours into this thing. Mind you, that wasnt ALL
hard work, but it has been taking up space that long (often more
productively than I do, I might add) . the frame is done, the nylon is on,
all it needs is the nylon seams cleaned up and sewed down, a coaming ring,
and a few coats of blubber. Should definitely be done within the next 2
years. I'm catching up to Harvey fast!
